FT. LAUDERDALE, FLA. – The reigning national champions, No.1 Nova Southeastern Women's Tennis team were defeated by the No.4 Embry-Riddle Eagles (4-3) at the NSU Tennis Complex at Rolling Hills. The Sharks have dropped their first match since April 27th, 2024.

SINGLES
- Kristyna Hranacova dominated in her match against Laura Cuesta Bret, winning 6-1, 6-0.
- Ita Habekovic battled through a three-set match against Maissane Aik, securing a 6-1, 2-6, 6-1 victory.
- Jessica Christa Wira Hadipoernomo defeated Sofia Shing 6-2, 6-4.
- Benedetta Sensi and Isabella Ciancaglini fought through a tightly contested match, with Sensi ultimately winning 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (7-2).
- Franziska Kremerskothen held off a tough challenge from Noemie Dadoun, winning 7-5, 6-4.
- Carla Cabero del Hierro and Julia Moraes went the distance in a competitive three-set battle, with Cabero del Hierro coming out on top 6-3, 3-6, 6-4.

Nova Southeastern returns to the courts tomorrow Sunday, March 30th, continuing SSC play against the Eckerd College Tritons at the NSU Tennis Complex at Rolling Hills. First serve is set for 10am.
